rural roads

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

I’m not much of a movie person but I do have several that are classics that I love to watch. One of my favorites is the Matrix, part I. There have been several things that have happened over the past few weeks with one incident particular that just sent me spinning. As I reflected on the things that happened a pivotal turning point in the moving came to my mind; it was right after Morpheus was rescued and Neo was still in this mode of self-doubt when Morpheus says to Neo “There’s a difference between knowing the path and walking the path”

In knowing the path you still have on the rose colored glasses thinking all will be well and that you can remain in your comfort zone and never push for more, because in staying where you are at nothing more will be required of you. You believe what others tell you and you can’t see past the limitations that you have allowed others to place on you.

But when you begin walking the path that is when the plot thickens, trials come, adversity strikes, and the purging processes begins. In walking the path you have now become a threat to Satan’s kingdom and he will do whatever he can to stop your walk.

We have become a microwave society; we want it fast and now and no we don’t want to work for it. We know our purpose and see it clearly but don’t want to walk in it because it requires more than just the status quo. You complain about not being fulfilled, but you are okay with being complacent with the status.

Trust me I have been there are I am still there in some areas of my life; put the past few weeks have made me realize that if I continue to put my faith in man and not God; I will keep repeating this lesson and delaying my blessings and breakthrough.

Like I said in a Facebook post a few days ago “Get me once that’s on you but TRUST me when I tell you there will NOT be a SECOND time!”

So what is keeping you from walking the path? Leave your comments below.
